Bad Boys

In April of 1995 Micheal Bay released a movie called Bad Boys.vThe movie stars Will Smith who plays Mike Lowry and Martin Lawrence who plays Marcus Burnett. Mike and Marcus are police officers who specialize in the field of narcotics. Marcus and Mike also happen to be partners who spend every moment of their day together, even breakfast. Early in the movie, a heist is performed on the evidence locker inside of the police station which results in the loss of over one hundred million dollars worth of heroin. Mike and Marcus are put on the case immediately. As they search for answers they hit dead end after dead end until they begin to find a body trail. Shortly after the bodies begin to pile up, a witness called the police department that saw exactly who stole all of the heroin from the evidence locker. Mike and Marcus are now assigned to keep the witness safe at all cost. As the duo works tirelessly, the witness does her own thing and jeopardize her safety over and over again. Throughout the movie, Marcus and Mike constantly are budding heads about how the other lives their life. Marcus has problems at home with his wife as well as the lack of maturity displayed by mike. Mike struggles with being possessive and nit nacky. They are both polar opposites but it ends up making a great partnership that leads to the two becoming closer than ever before. This movie shows what the power of friendship can be the difference in someone succeeding or failing in what they need to accomplish. A friend can also bring another up when they are down, yet they also possess the power to humble one another when ones head has become too big for their shoulders.
